1-Breeding Heifer Imports: Peak of Milk Production 

 

As Turkey’s leading company in breeding heifer imports, we bring high milk-yielding breeds such as Holstein, Simmental, and Montbéliarde heifers to world. Each heifer, selected from Europe’s top farms, is distinguished by its high genetic quality and exceptional productivity potential. Imported to maximize milk production on farms, these heifers fully comply with all health and technical standards of the Government. Ayvetsan continues to be the first choice for farmers who want to make a difference with World's highest quality breeding heifers.

Animal selection is carried out under the supervision of the Selection Committee, ensuring that all heifers meet the technical and health requirements.

Customers can also participate in the selection process in person if desired.

While customers can directly import breeding heifers in quantities of 34 or more, Ayvetsan also arranges contracts to import and distribute animals in smaller batches of 10 or 20 head.

3-Slaughter and Fattening Cattle Imports: Providing the Best

We import Simmental and Holstein male cattle for slaughter and fattening from countries such as Latvia, Hungary, Austria, and Uruguay, meeting all technical and health standards of the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

Animal selection is conducted under the Ministry Selection Committee’s supervision, ensuring that all slaughter cattle comply with the technical and health requirements of the Ministry. Customers can also join the selection process if they wish. Our company, in partnership with international entities, secured the tender for the Meat and Milk Board last year and successfully imported slaughter cattle.

Requirements for Slaughter Cattle:

• Imported live slaughter cattle must be of pure or crossbred breeds.
• They must be aged between 12-24 months and have a live weight of over 300 kg.
• Cattle must possess breed-specific characteristics and have no physical defects (such as issues with feet, eyes, ears, tail, etc.).
• No animal will be accepted for import without a health inspection and examination.
• Animals must not have been treated with substances such as stilbenes, thyrostatic agents, estrogenic, androgenic, gestagenic, or beta-agonist drugs unless for zootechnical purposes.

Requirements for Fattening Cattle:

• Imported live fattening cattle must be male, of pure or crossbred breeds.
• Each animal must be younger than 12 months and weigh less than 300 kg.
• Animals must retain breed-specific characteristics and be free of any physical defects (such as issues with feet, eyes, ears, tail, etc.).
• No animal will be accepted for import without a health inspection and examination.
